Jennifer Cochran, DVM

Dr. Cochran received her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in 1999 and her DVM degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.  Afterwards she completed a year-long internship studying internal and emergency medicine at Greenbrier Veterinary Emergency Clinic.  She joined Nansemond Veterinary Clinic in 2003 and purchased the practice from Dr. Kessler in July 2014.  In her free time she enjoys traveling both near and far, reading, and spending time at the movies.  Besides dogs, past pets include a cockatiel, several rats, and fish.  Currently she shares her house with three spoiled Papillons. 

Emily Clark, DVM 

Dr. Clark graduated from Virgina Tech with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She stayed in Blacksburg, Virginia to attend the Virgina-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2011. Dr. Clark returned to Suffolk to be close to her family and has been practicing at Nansemond Veterinary Clinic since 2016. In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband and children, travel, exercise, read, and enjoy the outdoors. She currently has a collection of food named pets: Tater Tot, a rambunctious Springer Spaniel, Mr. Pickles, a floofy cat, and Mango, a gentle banana ball python.

Christine Fleck, DVM

Dr. Fleck graduated from Virginia Intermont College with a Bachelor of Science in 2004, and received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.  Dr. Fleck has been practicing in Smithfield since then, and joined Nansemond Veterinary Clinic in 2013.  In her free time she enjoys reading, working in her garden, traveling and spending time with her furry children.  She currently shares her home with five cats and four Great Danes. Her oldest dane is a registered Therapy Dog who enjoys her visits to local nursing homes and hospitals.
